Non-custodial: we hold no funds and collect the minimum. Analytics only with consent; wallet screening for sanctions; KYC only if required. We don't sell data.
1. Overview
This explains how the operators of 0FACE handle data on 0FACE. We are individuals, not a company. Because the Interface is non-custodial, we hold no funds and collect the minimum needed to operate, secure and comply.
2. What we process
- On-chain data — wallet addresses and transactions you initiate are already public on their networks; we create no accounts.
- Compliance data — wallet addresses may be screened against sanctions lists and blockchain analytics; approximate location (from IP) enforces geo-restrictions; if we request KYC, the identity data you submit.
- Analytics & cookies — Google Analytics 4, Yandex Metrica and an X (Twitter) pixel, subject to your consent.
- Support — anything you send us (e.g. a transaction ID or message).
3. Purposes & legal bases
Operating and securing the Interface (legitimate interests); sanctions, AML and KYC screening and record-keeping (legal obligation / legitimate interests); analytics (consent); support (legitimate interests). We do not sell personal data.
4. Cookies & consent
A consent banner (Consent Mode v2) lets you accept or decline analytics cookies; the Interface works either way.
5. Sharing
With analytics providers (Google, Yandex, X) and sanctions/analytics vendors per their terms; with Liquidity Venues only the data needed to execute a swap; and with competent authorities where legally required.
6. Retention & rights
Transaction data: 72 hours. 0FACE ordinarily retains transaction data for 72 hours, after which it is deleted automatically. Data may be retained longer where an executing venue requires it, where law enforcement requires it, or while a support case remains open. Data is stored encrypted on secured servers. Two honest caveats: partner venues keep their own records under their own policies — often for much longer — and the blockchain itself is public and permanent; deletion on our side never removes on-chain records. Information may be disclosed to law enforcement pursuant to a valid legal request.
Beyond that, we keep data only as long as needed or as AML/record-keeping law requires. Subject to your jurisdiction (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA) you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object, or withdraw consent — some rights are limited by our legal obligations.
7. Transfers & children
Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards. Not for anyone under 18.
